LUB Coimbatore Chapter Organizes Two-Day Workshop on Sustainability, ESG & ISO 14001
The Coimbatore Chapter of Laghu Udyog Bharati successfully inaugurated a two-day workshop on GHG Accounting, ESG Reporting, and ISO 14001 Certification, marking another significant step towards promoting sustainable and responsible industrial practices among MSMEs.
The workshop was inaugurated by Chapter Secretary Sri Jayakanthan Ji and Treasurer Sri Vaathirajan Ji, who emphasized the growing importance of environmental sustainability, regulatory compliance, and global competitiveness for small and medium enterprises.
The inaugural session witnessed enthusiastic participation from entrepreneurs and industry representatives keen to understand emerging sustainability requirements. Participants gained valuable insights into Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting methodologies, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting frameworks, carbon footprint assessment techniques, and the implementation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
Experts conducting the sessions highlighted how adopting sustainable practices can not only help MSMEs meet evolving compliance standards but also enhance operational efficiency, market credibility, and long-term business resilience.
