LUB Hosur / Krishnagiri Accelerates Preparations for MSME Samgamam Connect Buyer-Seller Meet & Expo
A crucial planning meeting of LUB Hosur/Krishnagiri was held on 08 June 2026 at Sivarajani Hotel, Hosur, to review and strengthen preparations for the upcoming LUB MSME Samgamam Connect Buyer-Seller Meet & Expo. The meeting witnessed the active participation of 16 core team members and was guided by the valuable presence of Dr. VSV Verchezhian, State President of Laghu Udyog Bharati.
The discussions focused on strategic planning, industry outreach, stall bookings, publicity initiatives, and coordination with key stakeholders to ensure the grand success of the event.
The State Team informed members that efforts are underway to invite senior dignitaries, including a Union Minister and State Ministers, whose participation would significantly enhance the visibility and impact of the Buyer-Seller Meet and Expo. Their presence is expected to provide a strong platform for MSMEs to engage with policymakers and industry leaders.
A major development discussed during the meeting was the interaction between the State President and the Hosur team with D. Ravindran of the Hosur Industries Association. The team briefed HIA about the proposed expo and explored opportunities for collaboration. Special appreciation was extended to Arjun Aadhi for successfully coordinating the meeting. As a follow-up action, LUB Tamil Nadu will formally communicate with HIA and seek an appointment with the HIA President on 18 June 2026.
The Hosur unit emphasized the need for establishing a dedicated office to manage the exhibition and B2B activities. Members also proposed the appointment of dedicated staff to oversee coordination, participant engagement, and event execution. A task-oriented team structure was discussed, with specific responsibilities assigned for marketing, stall booking, and outreach to OEM and B2B companies. The Hosur team committed to working closely with the State Team to achieve the event objectives.
A key target set during the meeting was the responsibility of the Hosur team to secure a minimum of 100 exhibition stalls, demonstrating the unit’s commitment to making the expo one of the largest MSME networking platforms in the region.
Members also resolved to identify and engage major Private Limited companies operating in and around Hosur, encouraging them to participate as exhibitors and business partners. This initiative aims to strengthen industry participation and create meaningful business opportunities for MSMEs.
To support promotional efforts, the State Team, led by Dr. Verchezhian, agreed to arrange the urgent printing and distribution of 500 brochures for awareness and outreach activities.
The team further decided to approach IMS Karnataka and invite its participation in the expo. Additionally, specialized professionals with expertise in business development and stall marketing will be identified and integrated into the organizing team to accelerate exhibitor registrations.
A focused effort will also be made to encourage participation from leading industrial establishments, including Saint-Gobain, with requests for stall bookings and corporate engagement.
To maximize visibility across the region, members proposed an extensive publicity campaign. This includes installing promotional banners in multiple districts, publishing Buyer-Seller Meet announcements through newspapers, and conducting city-wide auto-rickshaw announcements across Hosur to reach industrialists, entrepreneurs, and the general public.
Special attention was also given to visitor management and digital registration systems. Sriram was entrusted with designing the visitor pass system and developing an online registration form to streamline attendee management and improve the overall visitor experience.
The meeting concluded with a strong sense of commitment and enthusiasm among all members. With clear responsibilities, ambitious targets, and coordinated efforts between the State and Hosur teams, the upcoming LUB MSME Samgamam Connect Buyer-Seller Meet & Expo is poised to become a significant platform for networking, business growth, industrial collaboration, and MSME empowerment across the region.
