MSME Ministry Implements OSOP Initiative For Divyangjan Vishwakarma Artisans

The MSME Ministry is implementing the One Station One Product initiative for Divyangjan Vishwakarma artisans under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, aiming to improve visibility and earnings for traditional craftspeople.

Dedicated retail outlets at selected high-footfall railway stations are being used to showcase and sell artisan-made products. For micro entrepreneurs, the model offers direct access to customers without heavy spending on marketing, distribution or storefront infrastructure.

The initiative supports economic inclusion, financial independence and livelihood stability for Divyangjan artisans. It also strengthens the broader MSME policy focus on skill development, market access and formal opportunities for traditional workers. This is especially relevant for artisans seeking formal, visible sales channels.
