India and Poland have discussed deeper cooperation between their MSME ecosystems, focusing on enterprise development, digital transformation, technology, innovation, market linkages, trade and investment. The meeting involved India’s MSME Ministry and a Polish delegation led by Deputy Minister Michał Baranowski.
India highlighted initiatives including Udyam registration, credit guarantees, technology centres and Zero Defect Zero Effect practices. Poland expressed interest in stronger institutional partnerships and greater business-to-business engagement, building on cooperation between NSIC and Poland’s enterprise-development agency.
For Indian MSMEs, Poland can serve as a gateway to Central and Eastern Europe. Future programmes could create opportunities for technology partnerships, distribution arrangements and joint manufacturing, although businesses must prepare for European quality, sustainability and regulatory requirements.
