He touched several other issues and praised various Government schemes announced earlier that day, MSME definition changes included by Govt and others.
Laghu Udyog Bharati Maharashtra State President Ravindra Ji Vaidya, who is an Auto Component Manufacturer from Aurangabad, appreciated the new Committee structure in that it is good way to focus and work professionally in Laghu Udyog Bharati just like running a company in a focused manner. He also congratulated Nagpur Ekai’s decision to structure their team on the Verticals model and assured that he will tell all other Ekai to do it in same way. He also requested online entry of all members for their membership information on the www.lubindia.com website for connecting members across India as well as compliance requirements. (to know about it and then tell to all members). He also discussed about Govt.’s reform package announcements today, that MSME definition change was well done by Govt. He spoke about why MSME should seek equity funding especially MSMEs doing well should definitely opt for it. Another important step by the government he appreciated was the directive on MSME outstanding payments by Govt and PSUs is. Laghu Udyog Bharati will also demand for extending this directive for large Private company’s outstanding as well.
Keeping the traditions alive, vayattik geet, “Jagana Desh Hai Apana” was played by Gorakh Sirsikar, which emphasized to all Laghu Udyog Bharati members, “Let us all Indians arise and raise our country through entrepreneurship. Let our country prosper. Let all wake up to this cause.
Followed by this was the main adress by Shri Govind Ji Lele, All India General Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati. Let us be happy with the new change of online meeting, is what he began with and quickly focused on the topic of Vichardhara, Uddeshya (Purpose) which is most important. He elaborated that Post/Designation is not important. Working as member is very important, irrespective of any post. He gave several examples in his discourse, starting with Prahlad Pant Abhyankar and how he was suddenly given the post of “Sanghchalak”. He said that let me be a just member. The Sah karyawah asked him to take the post and develop himself, to deserve that post.
Govind ji spoke on several issues, like there should be exhaustive discussions before decision. And only Deliverance post Decision. Attitude is required to accept decision and execute sincerely. This is must in any organisation and also in every company. We are entrepreneurs by choice he reminded everyone. We must do our responsibility as entrepreneur sincerely. We can discuss problems to solve them, not for just discussion. Good Discussions are essential for giving Solutions. Let problems come. Have process to solve them. Make a list of problems and discuss on solutions. Make list of problems and solutions. We have this time to brainstorm in this lock-down period. What problems were faced by us since beginning and what solutions we opted for. Let’s look back and evaluate our own decisions. Self-Introspection. Chintan and Manan. To share it with others. Decide how can we be profitable in business. How do we create happiness for us, staff, suppliers and Customers. Profit is must but most important is whether we have liquidity or not? Liquidity is very important. If we do not have liquidity even for say 15 days, then it can be catastrophic. Every entrepreneur must learn the need for required availability of funds (liquidity).
Govind ji further discussed on How we should look towards problems giving another example of an LUB workshop long back in Aurangabad, on problems faced by entrepreneurs. A point from that meeting he highlighted was that The entrepreneur and business are like a river. Business should flow like river. The path is very different during the journey. If a riven encounters a mountain in front of it, it will not try to destroy it, but co-exist and go around it. We must hink like this. Do not stop. Keep going, was his mantra for everyone to approach the problems faced by everyone especially in the current pandemic. Every entrepreneur should have this example for each one of us as principal of business. Stagnant water turns bad. So, to keep flowing is important, in spite of facing problems.
He then discussed the call by Hon. Prime Minster Shri Narendra Modi ji for Vocal for Local: A concept of Swadeshi expressed in a different way. “Atmanirbhar”! For a country to grow, it is important that our businesses grow. “Param Vaibhavam”. “Become Affluent” he reminded and that our business should become strong and “create wealth” and grow in a sustainable way. Problems and solutions are part of going ahead. Problems will keep coming. Sometimes, very big mountains (very big problems), but we have to keep going in spite of these problems. While running business, there will be many mountains of problems we will encounter and much like the river he spoke about earlier, he said that we have face them and go around them to march ahead successfully.
Taking it forward he touched upon the subject of Import Substitutes. That a list needs to be prepared. Just discussions won’t help. Do it in a year or two for all possible import substitute that we can manufacture in India. Laghu Udyog Bharati has to work for this. We have to change in our attitude. Find opportunities in problem. Even without problems, think differently. Think of different possibilities in future and keep changing. Take help of technology. Keep anticipating problems and preparing for it before problems come!
A vote of thanks was delivered Nagpur Ekai Vice-President Shri Hitesh ji Agrawal.
