He then handed over the dais to Mr.Hari Singh, who welcomed all the LUB-Punjab office-bearers and thanked them for coming to bless the Nabha LUB and MSMEs.
After that, Mr. SD Bharat ji invited LUB-Punjab President Adv. Arvind Dhumal to make aware the entrepreneurs present about the working, organisational structure and achievements of LUB both at state and all India level as well. In his address LUB-Punjab President commended the efforts of Mr. RV SIngla ji, Mr. Hari Sngh ji and Mr. SD Bharat ji in convening this long awaited meeting at Nabha. He informed the Nabha entrepreneurs about the organisational spread of LUB in Punjab and at all India level, and that, how it is working tirelessly for the upliftment of MSMEs.
Pamphlets regarding working of LUB too were distributed, and it was also told to them that, it was the silver jubilee year of LUB, and many Laghu Udyammi Sammellans (seminars) were organised across India (including 9 in Punjab). He advised LUB Nabha unit to enrol more and more members, so that, it could be formed as a full unit with working committee, and convene regular monthly meetings, discuss problems being faced by local MSMEs, send their details to LUB-Punjab office, so that, these could be brought in the notice of concerned authorities both at state and all India level as well.
Mr. Vijay Talwar made aware Nabha entrepreneurs about the different rules of PSPCL and the rights of MSMEs being consumers. He said that:i) consumers should check whether security is mentioned in bill or not;ii) whether interest is regularly paid by PSPCL to them or not;iii) to reduce the fixed charges, consumers should have lower contract demand;iv) PSPCL officials should inform consumers in advance through registered AD notice or newspaper before cealing meter.
He said that, they can call him any time about their problems, and assured all possible guidance!
Mr. Gurpreet Singh said that, the major problem of Nabha is there is 28% GST on Combine Engine and 12% on combine,so all the time GST refund is to be taken from govt. At which Adv. Arvind Dhumal suggested him that, first form LUB-Nabha complete unit and then give written representation on LUB-Nabha letter-head, to LUB-Punjab, which will be taken up with state govt. and the matters related to central govt. will be sent to All India head-office New-Delhi to be followed up with concerned ministries there after forming LUB-Nabha complete unit.
Mr. Dinesh Lakra informed that engine manufacturers from Baroda (Gujrat), Phagwara and Agra have given written representation to central govt. for lowering of GST on combine engines, so on the similar pattern LUB-Nabha should also give written representation (as advised by Adv.Arvind Dhumal). He also gave details about the efforts of LUB at All India level in getting the relief (reduction in the amount of contribution from 6.50% to 4.75%) in ESIC contribution of employer and employees, and his own efforts being member of central ESIC board. He asked to send him problems being faced by entrepreneurs at Nabha in relation to ESIC hospitals, so that, they could be got solved!
In his address Er.Vinod ji Jain too advised Nabha entrepreneurs to constitute a full unit with an executive committee, and LUB has specialists on various subjects related to industry, who are always ready to educate LUB members about the various provisions of govt. for the benefit of industry & MSMEs.
Mr. Hari Singh lauded the role played by Mr. RV Singla, for LUB and how he was instrumental in expanding his (Mr. Hari Singh’s) industry. He also shared his experience at Nagpur AGM of Laghu Udyog Bharati, and how he was impressed with its discipline and focus towards the upliftment of MSMEs.
