LUB Golaghat Ekai Marks World Environment Day with Plantation Drive
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Golaghat Ekai, in collaboration with the 142 Battalion of CRPF and the National Human Rights and Crime Control Bureau, organized a meaningful plantation drive at Amolapatty ME School, Ward No. 13, Golaghat.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation in creating a greener and healthier future. Members of LUB Golaghat Ekai, CRPF personnel, representatives of the National Human Rights and Crime Control Bureau, school staff, and local residents actively participated in the plantation activity.
The program highlighted the importance of tree plantation as a vital step toward environmental conservation, climate balance, and sustainable development. Participants also emphasized the collective responsibility of citizens to protect natural resources and nurture the saplings planted today for future generations.
The plantation drive served as a powerful reminder that small, consistent efforts can make a significant contribution to environmental protection and inspire communities to adopt eco-friendly practices.
