High-Level Meeting on MSME & Industrial Sector Reforms
On 2nd July 2025, a high-level meeting was convened at the District Administration Complex, Jalandhar, under the chairmanship of Shri Kamal Kishore Yadav, IAS, Secretary, Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab. The meeting aimed to address critical issues pertaining to the MSME and industrial sectors and explore reforms being initiated by the Punjab Government to promote industrial growth and ease of doing business.
A delegation from Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), led by National Vice President Adv. Arvind Dhumal, actively participated in the discussions. The delegation included Mr. Vivek Rathour, Mr. Manohar Dewan, Sardar Amir Singh, Mr. Varun Bhalla, and Mr. Ashish Sharma. The team presented a detailed memorandum highlighting key challenges faced by MSMEs along with constructive suggestions for policy support, infrastructure development, and regulatory simplification.
The meeting concluded with a banquet hosted in honor of all participants. Laghu Udyog Bharati extends heartfelt thanks to the Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab, for the productive dialogue and continued commitment to strengthening the industrial ecosystem of the state.
