The Installation Ceremony of the New Office Bearers of Laghu Udyog Bharati – Tamil Nadu – Coimbatore Unit was held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at COINDIA Hall, Avarampalayam, in a grand and vibrant atmosphere. The event marked the official induction of the new district team for the 2025–2027 term. The presence of Chief Guest Shri K. Annamalai (Ex. IPS and Chief Servant, We The Leaders Foundation) elevated the evening, as he delivered a powerful and enlightening address on the significance of MSMEs, the future roadmap of LUB, India's economic vision, the role of small industries in nation-building, current challenges, practical solutions, and the essential adoption of Artificial Intelligence in today’s MSME ecosystem. His 30-minute speech captivated the audience with insightful perspectives.
The ceremony was graced by prominent national and state leaders of LUB, including Shri Hariharan Ramamurthy (National Vice President), Shri M.S. Vijayaraghavan (National Executive Committee), Dr. VSV Verchezhiyan (State President), and Shri R. Kalyanasundaram (State General Secretary), along with a large gathering of district and state office bearers. The program also witnessed the participation and felicitation by representatives from over 13 industrial associations/organizations, affirming LUB Coimbatore’s growing influence and pivotal role in representing micro and small enterprises in the region.
To address industry-specific issues more effectively, over 12 dedicated verticals were formed, each led by expert EC members from respective sectors. An impressive 10-year vision roadmap for the growth of LUB was presented by the incoming president Shri Sivasakthi. A web-based business portal for LUB Coimbatore members was also launched, developed with the support of Shri Kanakaraj, Correspondent of Happy Valley Business School, aimed at facilitating local enterprise networking and growth.
One of the major highlights was the MoU signed between LUB Coimbatore and SITARC—an industrial testing lab for motors, pumps, and EV accessories—which will now offer testing services to LUB members at highly subsidized rates. Adding a green touch, each guest was gifted a plant sapling, showcasing LUB’s commitment not only to MSMEs but also to environmental responsibility—a gesture that was widely appreciated.
The event saw significant participation from LUB Mahila (women’s) state and district office bearers and members, and with an attendance exceeding 400 participants, the venue was filled to capacity and beyond. The national and state leadership extended special appreciation to President Shri Sivasakthi, Secretary Shri Jayakanthan, Treasurer Shri Vathirajan, and the entire organizing team, for their meticulous planning and execution, guided by State Vice Presidents Shri Ravi Chandran and Shri Nallathambi.
The evening, which began with a networking session and concluded with a grand dinner, was a resounding success—reinforcing a strong spirit of collaboration, vision, and determination within the dynamic MSME landscape of Coimbatore.
