The Lean Manufacturing Awareness Program, organized by Laghu Udyog Bharathi’s Coimbatore Chapter, was successfully conducted on 5th June 2025 at the District Industries Centre, Coimbatore. The session, led by Mr. K. Vijaya Raju, Deputy Director of the National Productivity Council, Chennai, focused on boosting productivity and reducing waste through lean manufacturing principles. Over 40 members participated actively, gaining practical knowledge on eliminating waste, improving efficiency, enhancing product quality, cost-saving strategies, and utilizing government support for MSMEs. Special guests from the District Industries Centre, including Mr. Shanmuga Siva (General Manager), Mr. Sethuraman, and Mrs. Sri Rajeshwari (Assistant Directors), shared valuable insights on government schemes available for MSMEs. Additionally, in observance of World Environment Day, Er. S. Sivakumar from Green Solar Technology provided expert advice on energy-saving methods, aligning with the goal of sustainable industrial growth. The event was highly engaging and well appreciated by all attendees, marking a significant step toward smarter, leaner, and greener industrial practices.
