Laghu Udyog Bharati Tamil Nadu – South Zone Meeting Held in Madurai, Finalizes Detailed Plans for Sthapana Diwas Celebrations
The South Zone meeting of Laghu Udyog Bharati Tamil Nadu was successfully held in Madurai, with the participation of presidents, secretaries, and coordinators from Madurai, Ramanathapuram, Dindigul, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Theni, and Virudhunagar districts. The meeting was primarily focused on planning the upcoming Sthapana Diwas celebrations scheduled for April 24, 25, and 26, 2025. On the first day (April 24), emphasis will be placed on the membership drive, with State Joint General Secretary Shri Kalyanasundaram Ji presenting the roadmap to achieve maximum outreach. On the second day (April 25), programs will be organized within member industrial units, including staff felicitation and members' meetings. Afternoon sessions will include awareness talks on banking and government schemes for MSMEs, motivational speeches, and the honoring of past office bearers, social workers, and officials. The third day (April 26) will be observed as Seva Diwas, with planned activities such as health check-up camps, blood donation drives, tree plantation, and “Panch Parivartan” initiatives, as outlined by National Executive Member Shri M.S. Vijayraghavan Ji. The meeting also addressed organizational expansion, with discussions on forming new units in five remaining districts — Theni, Sivagangai, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, and Tirunelveli — and the appointment of in-charges for each. State Vice President Shri Arunachalam Ji provided district-wise guidance for membership growth. The meeting was efficiently organized by Madurai Unit President Shri Aravind Ji, Secretary Shri Shyam Narayanan, and the executive team. This strategic meeting not only solidified the plans for Sthapana Diwas but also marked a strong step forward in expanding and strengthening Laghu Udyog Bharati in South Tamil Nadu.
