LUB Karur Unit Installation Ceremony & GST Awareness Program Marks a Promising Milestone
The Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Karur unit marked a significant milestone with the formal installation of its newly appointed district office bearers and Executive Committee members, alongside an impactful GST awareness program. Held in Karur, the event celebrated the growth of the 22nd district unit of LUB Tamil Nadu, which was officially inaugurated in May 2024.
The newly installed team took a pledge to work towards strengthening the voice of MSMEs, supporting their growth, and addressing their key challenges at the district level. The event featured insightful sessions by Shri Balasubramaniam and Shri Pandiyan, both Assistant Commissioners of GST, Karur, who shared valuable updates and clarifications related to GST. They also addressed various questions posed by the attending entrepreneurs, making the session highly engaging and informative.
Shri Jeyendran, Joint General Secretary of LUB Tamil Nadu, shared his perspective on how LUB membership benefits business owners and helps them scale with strong community and institutional support. Shri Sathyanarayanan, State EC Member and Media In-Charge, highlighted the range of LUB activities and emphasized the importance of being a “Deshbhakt Udyami” — a patriotic entrepreneur committed to nation-building through enterprise.
Additionally, Shri Narayanaswamy, State Secretary, and Shri Senthil, State Vice President, addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of “Pravas” (field visits) in strengthening grassroots engagement and MSME outreach.
The event was seamlessly organized under the leadership of Chapter President Shri Eashwaran and his dedicated team. With the participation of over 60 members, the event served as a powerful platform to exchange ideas, encourage collaboration, and set the tone for impactful initiatives in the region.
