On 8th September 2025, Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) and Vidyalankar Polytechnic (VP) Mumbai entered into a strategic MoU to strengthen MSME growth through industry- academia collaboration.
Vidyalankar Polytechnic, known for its specialization in AI/ML and digitization, brings strong academic expertise and practical training capacity to this partnership.
Key initiatives under the collaboration include:
Launch of AI and digitization pilots to help small businesses automate processes, modernize operations, and become future-ready
Facilitating student internships and capstone projects with MSMEs to provide exposure to grassroots industry challenges and create practical solutions.
Vidyalankar’s contribution to cluster upgradation and hosting expert seminars & webinars for LUB members
The MoU was formalized in the presence of Shri Om Prakash Gupta, All India General Secretary, LUB; Smt. Jayanti Goela, National Coordinator Industry- Academia; Shri Jayesh Dedhia, President, LUB Mumbai Division along with members of LUB’s Mumbai and National teams.
From Vidyalankar Polytechnic, Prof. Dr. Ashish Ukidve (Principal), Dr. Vaishali Malkar (Vice Principal), Prof. Vijay Patil (HoD), Prof. Anjum Mujawwar, Prof. Yogita K., Dr. Sandhya, and other faculty members participated.
