A meeting was held with Dr. Rajneesh, Development Commissioner (DC) MSME, at Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi, on 19th March 2025 to discuss the participation of Government Tool Rooms in the India Manufacturing Show (IMS) 2025. During the discussion, Dr. Rajneesh appreciated the idea of showcasing the capabilities and services of MSME Tool Rooms at a national platform like IMS. He agreed in principle to set up a special pavilion for Government Tool Rooms at the event, recognizing their critical role in supporting MSMEs, promoting skill development, and enhancing manufacturing competitiveness. Furthermore, he immediately called Additional DC Ms. Ashwinilal during the meeting and directed her to clear the file for issuing a sanction letter supporting the participation of 250 MSME units in the show. This move is aimed at ensuring maximum visibility and business opportunities for MSMEs through the platform, with active support from the Ministry. The official sanction letter is expected to be issued soon to facilitate the necessary arrangements and participation.
