Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Goa team, led by President Pallavi Salgaocar, recently met Honourable Industries Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho at his Assembly office in Porvorim, Goa, to present their initiatives and suggestions aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state. The team, which included Mudit Agarwaal (General Secretary), Jayesh Raikar (Vice President), Vibhor Keny (Treasurer), and Rahul Parab (Joint Secretary), emphasized the importance of policy support to strengthen the MSME sector and ensure its significant contribution to Goa’s economic growth. A key proposal put forward during the meeting was seeking the government’s assistance in setting up a registered office for Laghu Udyog Bharati in Panjim, which would enable the organization to expand its outreach, facilitate better coordination with government departments, and serve as a resource hub for local MSMEs. This meeting marks a significant step forward for LUB Goa in its ongoing efforts to create a more conducive environment for the growth and development of MSMEs in the state, and with the active support of the government, they aim to empower enterprises, drive innovation, and encourage sustainable business practices across Goa.
