A delegation of Laghu Udyog Bharati headed by Shri Ghanshyam Ojha, All India President, Shri Om Prakash Gupta, All India General Secretary and delegates from Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Maharashtra met with Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon. Minister for Consumer Affairs and New & Renewable Energy alongwith Director General, BIS and other senior officials of the Ministry to discuss issues relating to application of BIS Standards on Patta Patti and Utensils, Grey Iron Casting, to allow Syngas as approved fuel in NCR and upcoming QCOs. Hon. Minister very patiently listened to the problems being faced by micro and small industries and emphatically instructed the concerned officials to work with the objective to introduce quality without any harassment to micro and small industries. He also advised to take-up regular follow-up meetings in this regard.
