On 18th May 2025, the new executive committee of Laghu Udyog Bharati – Madhya Bongo (West Bengal) was successfully formed during a meeting held at Kulti, Asansol (Paschim Bardhaman). The meeting began with the chanting of Omkar and concluded with the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere of unity and devotion. The event was graced by the presence of All India Former President and current Eastern Region Prabhari Shri Om Prakash Mittal, Shri Praveen Kumar Agarwal, Shri Saroj Kumar Sahoo, members from the Madhya Bongo region, and representatives from the Refractory Association. In the newly formed committee, Shri Ratan Konar from Bardhaman was reselected as President, Shri Arup Roy from Asansol took charge as General Secretary, and Shri Vishal Agarwal from Budbud was appointed Treasurer. Additionally, Shri Nishit Agarwal and Dr. S.R. Banerjee from Bardhaman were named Vice Presidents, while Shri Prahalad Ghosh and Shri Ratan Agarwal were appointed as Joint Secretaries. Eight other Executive Committee members and district convenors for all eight districts were also selected. The meeting was followed by Mahaprasad at the Kulti Jagannath Temple, symbolizing a harmonious conclusion to an important organizational milestone.
