A special event was organized to honor the 300th birth anniversary of Punarshlok Ahilyadevi Holkar, held in collaboration with BJP Goa, Laghu Udyog Bharati Goa, Oorja Training and Research Academy, and Aamhi Udyogini Pratishathan. The occasion was marked by an inspiring talk on the remarkable life history of Ahilyadevi Holkar, delivered by Sudhir Thorat, which captivated the audience with insights into her leadership and legacy.
The event also featured a lively elocution and fancy dress competition with over 40 enthusiastic participants, who showcased their creativity and deep knowledge about this iconic woman leader. The presence of esteemed guests such as MLA Digamber Kamat, MLA Ulhas Tuyekar, BJP Goa President Damu Naik, and Smt. Ranjita Pai, Chairperson of the Goa State Commission for Women, added great honor and significance to the celebrations.
