A Laghu Udyog Bharati Delegation met with the Hon’ble Union Minister of Health, Chemicals & Fertilizers, Sh. JP Nadda Ji on 17th July’25. The LUB delegation was led by All India President Shri Ghanshyam Ojha, General Secretary Shri Om Prakash Gupta, National Secretary Shri Naresh Pareek along with Dr. Rajesh Gupta Head of Pharmaceutical Utpad Samuh and its members Dr. Ravleen Khurana, Mr. Amit Chawla. Textile & Garments Utpad Samuh Office bearers, Shri Ravi Poddar & Shri Mahesh Hurkat were also present. During the meeting, the LUB delegation highlighted several pressing concerns affecting micro, small, and medium enterprises, including: •Compliance and sustainability challenges faced by small and micro pharmaceutical units. •Delays in the disbursement of eligible Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme benefits. •The adverse impact of Quality Control Orders (QCOs) on MSMEs in the textile industry, particularly in relation to PTA, POY, and FDY segments. •A proposal for adequate MSME representation in the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), in accordance with Section 5 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Hon’ble Minister assured the delegation of the government’s firm commitment to supporting the growth and development of MSMEs in key sectors. Hon’ble Minister Immediately instructed senior officials for follow-up meeting with LUB Representatives to address all their concerns.
