Laghu Udyog Bharati Women Cell, Belgavi, Hosts Pottery Awareness Program in Association with KVIC
Laghu Udyog Bharati Women Cell, Belgavi, in collaboration with the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), organized a one-day awareness program on handmade pottery at Maratha Mangal Karyalaya, Hosur, Shapur. The event, held on [insert date], aimed to promote traditional pottery skills and provide hands-on experience to participants.
The program was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Smt. Preeti Abhay Patil, who inspired the audience with her words of encouragement. A total of 155 members participated enthusiastically in the event.
The KVIC team conducted live demonstrations on crafting terracotta jewelry, fancy pots, Ganesh idols, and various animal figures such as tortoises and rats. Participants actively engaged in creating these beautiful handmade items, showcasing their creativity and skill.
The event began with a warm welcome and an introduction to Laghu Udyog Bharati by Mrs. Priya Puranik, the State Secretary. Shri S. N. Deshpande provided an insightful overview of KVIC's initiatives and support for artisans and small-scale industries. Smt. Sashi Naik recited a shloka, adding a spiritual touch to the gathering.
