Today, Sh. Om Prakash Gupta, All India General Secretary, and Sh. Vivek Aggarwal, National Co-Convenor, Paper & Packaging Samuh of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) met with Sh. Harsh Malhotra, Hon. Minister of State, Ministry of Corporate Affairs & Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to present key concerns of the MSME sector. LUB strongly recommended for an Amnesty Scheme under MCA giving a fair opportunity to genuine MSMEs to regularize their compliance status with minimum formalities and a small token amount of penalty.

The delegation also urged for a clear and time-bound process for restoration of struck-off companies holding assets, ensuring that bona-fide businesses are allowed to operate with an opportunity to overcome procedural lapses. The Minister gave a patient hearing and assured positive consideration. LUB remains committed to working closely with the Government for a robust and MSME-friendly regulatory ecosystem to ensure enhanced productivity.
