Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) and YES Foundation jointly organized an Energy Saving Awareness Program on June 30, 2025, at Sterling Border Land, Amritsar, Punjab. The initiative aimed to educate MSME industries about the importance of energy conservation, efficient technologies, and sustainable practices. Renowned energy expert Mr. Khalid Khan led the session, sharing practical insights and tips on reducing energy consumption and operational costs. Ms. Priyanka Goyal, President of the LUB Women’s Wing (Amritsar), emphasized that energy conservation is vital for the sustainable growth of MSMEs and appreciated the opportunity this program provided for learning and networking. Sh. Amit Kapoor, President of LUB, highlighted the organization's 15+ years of association with the Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC), underlining the importance of collaboration in promoting sustainability. The event saw active participation from several dignitaries including Mr. Samir Khanna, LUB Punjab State Vice President; Dr. J.P. Singh, LUB Advisor; and Mr. T.R. Mahajan, Treasurer, LUB Amritsar, who played a key role in organizing the event. Ms. Bidisha Roy from FMC spoke about the YES Foundation project and the importance of conducting energy audits for efficient energy management, while Mr. Rishi Ram shared insights from FMC's journey in uplifting MSME clusters through sustainable practices. The event attracted a diverse audience of MSME owners, professionals, and stakeholders, and concluded with a fruitful interaction and Q&A session with the experts.
