IIM Jammu recently organized a dynamic Orientation Program for the MBA batch of 2025–27, designed to familiarize students with the ever-evolving business landscape and instill an entrepreneurial spirit from the very beginning. A prominent feature of the program was a thought-provoking panel discussion on the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir, conducted in collaboration with Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Jammu & Kashmir.
The panel brought together esteemed figures from the MSME sector, including Shri Parveen Pargal (State President, LUB), Shri Aagam Jain (State General Secretary, LUB), Shri Ankit Gupta (Vice President, LUB), Shri Anil Suri and Shri Rajesh Jain (Senior Members), and Shri Hasit Singh (Young Entrepreneur and LUB Member).
Through this engaging session, students were exposed to diverse perspectives on regional entrepreneurial opportunities, government policy support, MSME development, and innovation-led growth. The panelists shared real-world experiences and insights, offering students a deeper understanding of the industrial ecosystem and the challenges and achievements within it.
