Today, an important meeting was held at the MSME Office, Varanasi, focused on the establishment of a modern Tool Room equipped with high-class machinery to support silk textile manufacturing, food product processing, and agricultural equipment production. The key objective of the proposed tool room is to empower uneducated and under-skilled youth by providing them access to technical training and hands-on experience with advanced industrial technologies, thereby transforming them into skilled and employable professionals.
The meeting witnessed the active participation of Shri Ujjwal Narayan Ji, Deputy Director, National Productivity Council (NPC), Kanpur, Shri Rajesh Chaudhary Ji and Shri Virendra Rana Ji, both Assistant Directors at MSME, along with officials from MSME DFO Varanasi. Representatives from Laghu Udyog Bharati, Kashi Prant also contributed valuable insights during the discussion, emphasizing the need for such a facility in the region to enhance local manufacturing capabilities and promote self-reliant entrepreneurship.
This initiative is expected to play a transformative role in strengthening the MSME ecosystem in Eastern Uttar Pradesh by bridging the gap between industry needs and workforce readiness.
