On June 26, 2025, a delegation from Laghu Udyog Bharati met with the Union Minister of Commerce, Hon'ble Shri Piyush Goyal, to provide information about the upcoming international stone fair “Stone Mart-26,” scheduled to be held in Jaipur in February 2026. During the meeting, the delegation also requested the minister’s presence at the event. The minister showed keen interest in Stone Mart, sought detailed information about it, and directed officials from the Department to extend full cooperation from the Ministry of Commerce for the successful organization of the event.
The delegation included prominent members such as All India General Secretary Sh. Om Prakash Gupta, former National Treasurer Sh. Yogesh Gautam, Jaipur Prant President Sh. Mahendra Mishra, Jodhpur member Sh. Rajesh Jeerawala, and former Jodhpur Prant General Secretary Sh. Devendra Daga.
On this occasion, an extensive discussion was also held regarding issues faced by the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and the Khopra (Coconut) industry in Telangana.
