The regular monthly meeting of Laghu Udyog Bharati Derabassi was held on Monday, 3rd March 2025, with the participation of 21 members. The meeting commenced with a warm welcome to all attendees. Key office bearers present included Derabassi President Davinder Ji Kaushal, General Secretary Rahul Ji Gupta, State General Secretary Punjab Pardeep Mongia, Secretary Deepak Ji Dhingra, Secretary Sahil Ji Garg, along with other prominent members.
The primary agenda of the meeting revolved around fire NOC and factory license renewal, which remains a significant concern for local industries. Additionally, pressing infrastructure issues were highlighted, including the lack of proper roads and streetlights, absence of a functional sewerage system, and unavailability of tap water supply by the Municipal Corporation, despite industries regularly paying property tax, GST, and other government levies. Members expressed strong dissatisfaction over the inadequate support from local authorities in providing basic amenities essential for smooth industrial operations.
A unanimous decision was made to approach higher authorities to demand these fundamental facilities. The members emphasized the need for proactive action to ensure that industries receive the necessary infrastructure support for sustainable growth. The meeting concluded with a strong resolution to raise these concerns at the administrative level and advocate for industrial welfare, reinforcing Laghu Udyog Bharati Derabassi's commitment to safeguarding the interests of local businesses and entrepreneurs.
