The regular meeting of Laghu Udyog Bharati, Hoshiarpur, was held on Friday, 29th August 2025. This month’s meeting featured a special guest, Mr. Maninder Singh Mann from Chandigarh, who delivered an engaging session on “Building a Brand Without Burning a Hole in the Pocket.” He shared practical strategies for frugal brand building, highlighting ways entrepreneurs can strengthen their brand presence without heavy financial investment. His presentation included real-world case studies, providing members with actionable insights from his industry experience.
The meeting also marked a significant step in the Academia-Industry Collaboration initiative, as faculty and students from Panjab University’s Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur, including Dr. Vrajesh Sharma and four BTech (IT) students, participated in the discussions. Their presence helped identify several opportunities for collaboration, such as offering internships for engineering students through LUB Hoshiarpur members, engaging students in software development projects for member businesses, and exploring the possibility of establishing a startup incubation centre on campus.
Overall, the session was highly productive, with members benefiting from expert guidance on cost-effective brand building. The discussions also paved the way for long-term partnerships between industry and academia, fostering mutual growth and collaboration.
