Laghu Udyog Bharati Phagwara Participates in CII Interaction with Central GST Officials
Today, Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Phagwara was invited by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for an important interaction session with senior officials from Central GST, Jalandhar Division. The session aimed at fostering dialogue between industry representatives and tax authorities, with a special focus on the challenges faced by MSMEs.
The interaction was graced by Mr. Kumar Gaurav Dhawan, Commissioner, Central GST, Jalandhar Division, and S. Suneetinder Singh Walia, IRS, Deputy Commissioner, Central GST.
Representing LUB at the session were Mr. Ashok Sethi, State Vice President, S. Mukhinder Singh, State Secretary, Sh. Inder Paul Khurana, President LUB Phagwara, and Sh. Pankaj Gautam, Immediate Past President (IPP).
During the meeting, the LUB team highlighted several key issues being faced by MSMEs, particularly related to GST compliance, procedural challenges, and the need for smoother processes to support small businesses. The officials patiently heard the concerns and assured support wherever possible to address the genuine difficulties of the MSME sector.
The session proved to be a productive platform for constructive dialogue and further strengthened the channel of communication between MSME stakeholders and government authorities. LUB Phagwara expressed gratitude to CII for facilitating this vital interaction.
