Laghu Udyog Bharati, West Bengal organised an Abhyas Varg & Awareness Program in Kolkata on 8 March 2026, which proved to be a meaningful and enriching event for members and entrepreneurs.
The program began with Vedic recitation, Deep Prajwalan and Sanghathan Mantra. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Prakash Chand Ji (Sanghathan Mantri), Shri Prashant Bhatt Ji (Prant Pracharak, RSS South Bengal), Dr. (Prof.) Jishnu Basu (Purba Kshetra Prachar Pramukh, RSS), Shri Om Prakash Gupta Ji (All India General Secretary, LUB), Shri Saroj Kumar Sahoo (All India Vice President, LUB) and Shri Paul Kumar Mitra (Member, All India Working Committee, LUB).
During the session, speakers highlighted the importance of Swadeshi, organisational discipline, and selfless teamwork. Shri Om Prakash Gupta Ji also shared the future vision of LUB, including the Plug & Play model for 100 clusters, real-time accounting, correct data management, responsible social media use and the 9 Pillar Model for success.
Dr. Jishnu Basu emphasized strengthening the BUB (Business–University–Business) model for better collaboration between industry and academia. Shri Prakash Chand Ji shared valuable insights on the role of Karyakartas, organisational values and efforts required to restore the industrial glory of West Bengal.
The awareness session was also attended by Shri Neejaj Kumar Panda (Chief General Manager, SBI Eastern & North Eastern Circle), Shri Sitanath Mukherjee (AD, MSME-DI Kolkata), Shri Achintya Mondal (Regional Director, ESIC) and noted industrialist Shri Giridhar Lal Chamaria (AMIC Group).
The occasion also celebrated International Women’s Day, where Matri Shakti entrepreneurs were felicitated. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
