The seminar saw active participation from Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), showcasing its commitment towards empowering MSMEs and addressing their key concerns. Representing LUB, Shri Bharat Tharad, State General Secretary, Shri Raghav Ji, State Co-Treasurer, Shri Manoj Gupta, Media Prabhari Awadh Prant, Ms. Priyanka from Mahila Ekaee, and several other members attended the event. I, as Rita Mittal, Member of MSME Facilitation Council, Lucknow Division, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and President of Awadh Prant, Laghu Udyog Bharati, also participated and presented a paper highlighting the significance of the Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS) platform for MSMEs. My presentation focused on the Gazette Notification dated 7th November 2024, which mandates large buyers to register on TReDS. This platform provides a secure and efficient mechanism to ensure timely payments to MSMEs, reducing their dependence on litigation, lowering dispute resolution costs, and improving access to working capital. The collective presence of LUB members in this seminar reinforced the organization’s continuous efforts to promote legal awareness and financial innovations for the growth and sustainability of MSMEs.
