Minutes and Details of LUB Jalandhar Unit’s May Monthly Meeting
In its continued effort to foster growth and awareness among MSMEs, Laghu Udyog Bharti Jalandhar Unit recently organized a highly informative and engaging monthly meeting at the Golden Tulip Hotel. The session focused on Lean Management, Manufacturing, and the Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) framework, drawing participation from 55 active members including industry leaders and MSME stakeholders.
The meeting commenced with a formal welcome by LUB Jalandhar President Mr. Vivek Rathore, who encouraged members to embrace transformative government initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and ZED. He also expressed optimism about the imminent formation of MSME clusters, which are crucial for the sector’s holistic development through technical expertise and government support.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Rajagopal, a strategic consultant and international trainer representing the Quality Council of India and OTIFAS, an empanelled consulting organization. He provided a detailed overview of the ZED and Lean processes and emphasized the substantial financial benefits available to MSMEs — subsidies exceeding ₹25 lakh under various Central and State Government schemes through the Ministry of MSME.
The session was expertly moderated by LUB General Secretary Mr. Anirudh Dhir, ensuring smooth coordination throughout. Members gained valuable insights on optimizing operational efficiency and leveraging government incentives, making the meeting a highly enriching experience.
