LUB Delegation Submits Key MSME Policy Recommendations to Hon’ble MoS for MSME & Labour

A delegation of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) , led by Shri Ghanshyam Ojha , All India President, and Shri Om Prakash Gupta , All India General Secretary, met with Hon’ble Minister of State for MSME & Labour, Smt. Shobha Karandlaje ji . During the meeting, LUB submitted key recommendations aimed at strengthening Micro and Small Industries under the new MSME framework.
The main demands included separate budget lines and a dedicated policy focus for micro and small units, credit access reforms , GST relief measures , enforcement of Facilitation Council awards , inclusive public procurement on GeM and the creation of a Laghu Udyog Advisory Council . Special emphasis was also placed on supporting women entrepreneurs , simplifying compliance , and addressing delayed payments from govt. departments and regulatory burden .
These recommendations aim to build a more inclusive, resilient, and competitive ecosystem for micro and small industries — the backbone of India’s economy.
