Laghu Udyog Bharati, Mumbai, in collaboration with Patkar-Varde College, Goregaon, successfully organized a Campus Recruitment Drive on 9th September 2025 to provide internship opportunities for students. The initiative aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practices, creating a strong connect between institutions and enterprises. A total of 9 companies, including LUB member industries, participated in the drive where 83 students from SY and TY courses such as BMS, B.Sc IT, BAF, and Insurance appeared for interviews. More than 15 students have already been selected for six-month internships, with further selections expected after the second round of interviews. This effort not only offers students valuable exposure and practical learning while they pursue their studies but also helps industries discover fresh talent. The success of this drive has generated strong interest, with several other MSME owners approaching LUB to conduct similar internship recruitment initiatives in the near future—a true handshake between Industry and Institution, powered by LUB Mumbai.
