The LUB Tamil Nadu State Prashikshana Varga was held at Yercaud with enthusiastic participation from over 100 members. The event began with the lighting of the lamp, Vande Mataram, and a welcome address by State President Dr. Verchezhiyan, who shared the vision and mission for the next two years and reflected on the growth achieved under IPP Shri Shivakumar. Key sessions covered vital topics for MSME and organizational growth. Sri Vijayaraghavan (National EC) spoke on nation-building through industrial development, stressing Atmanirbhar Bharat, sustainable entrepreneurship, and the Five Pillars – Economy, Infrastructure, Technology, Democracy, and Domestic Demand – with a call for active patriotism. Shri Elango (State VP) emphasized consistent communication, fortnightly meetings, goal-setting, daily engagement with micro-enterprises, and a “Triple Membership” vision for branding, quality, and funding awareness by 2027. Shri Jeyandran (State Jt. Gen. Sec.) highlighted business development priorities such as competitive pricing, digital adoption, ESG, export expansion, cluster manufacturing, and crowdfunding, along with strengthening internal trade through expos and buyer-seller meets. Shri Hariharan (National VP) focused on organizational development with plans for labor rights, skill training, grievance redressal, GST awareness, tech transfer, exhibitions, SME IPOs, and strong governance through quarterly EC meetings. Shri Kalyan Sundaram (State Gen. Sec.) presented the current LUB TN structure across 38 districts, defined leadership roles, encouraged field visits, and set membership targets of 6,000 in the short term with plans to double. Shri Ravichandran (State VP) stressed need-based training, actionable meeting outcomes, inviting non-members and sponsors to programs, and hosting EC meetings in members’ offices. Shri Jaykumar and Shri Sathyanarayanan (MASSCOM) encouraged stronger digital presence through Twitter, LinkedIn, podcasts, and the “Hoslon ki Udayan” platform. Key highlights included the launch of TOZHIL SUDAROLI, LUB TN’s first magazine covering state, southern states, and national activities; release of a state achievements video; and a ready reckoner handbook for office bearers. Sponsors showcased their products, and LUB Hosur Chapter set a record by submitting 73 new membership forms at the event. The previous day featured interactive games and open industry discussions. Overall, the varga reinforced themes of self-reliance, collaboration, digital readiness, and structured organizational growth to strengthen MSMEs and support national development.
