Laghu Udyog Bharati Kerala: Thrissur District Unit’s First Program Commences from the Holy Land of Guruvayoor
Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Thrissur District Unit marked the beginning of its first official program from Guruvayoor, the sacred land of Lord Krishna. As part of this initiative, an industry association meet and an entrepreneurship awareness workshop were organized under the leadership of the LUB Guruvayoor Unit.
The workshop, held at Guruvayoor Municipal Town Hall on January 29, 2025, from 10 AM onwards, witnessed the participation of around fifty new entrepreneurs. The session was conducted by Shri N.K. Vinod, National Working Committee Member, Laghu Udyog Bharati, and Kerala State Organizing Secretary, who provided valuable insights on entrepreneurship and industry growth.
The event was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the keynote address. Dr. Venugopal, District President of LUB Thrissur, presided over the function, while LUB District General Secretary, Shri Suraj Karnamkot, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. A motivational session on entrepreneurship was delivered by LUB State Patron, Shri S.S. Menon, inspiring budding business owners to explore new opportunities.
Key discussions included MSME schemes and financial assistance for entrepreneurs. Mrs. K. Rekha, Assistant Director, MSME, elaborated on government initiatives, while Mrs. P.G. Jini, Chavakkad Taluk AIO (DIC), and Mr. Krishnamohan, Director of Canara Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute, explained the financial aid available under various schemes. Retired ACP Mr. K.B. Suresh extended his greetings and best wishes for the success of the initiative.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Ranjith, President of LUB Guruvayoor Unit, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants for making the event a grand success.
This initiative marks a significant step towards fostering entrepreneurial growth and industrial development in Thrissur District, reflecting LUB’s commitment to empowering MSMEs and promoting self-reliance in Kerala.
