The installation ceremony of the new office bearers of Laghu Udyog Bharati – Tamil Nadu, Tirupur Unit was held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at SIHMA Hall, Tirupur, with the theme “MSME Development – Challenges, Solutions, Schemes and Strengthening the Backbone of Indian Economy.” The event witnessed the presence of prominent dignitaries including Shri Mohanasundaram (LUB National Joint General Secretary), Shri MS Vijayaraghavan (LUB National Executive Committee Member), and Shri Karthigaivasan (DIC General Manager, Tirupur), along with State-level LUB leaders such as Shri Kalyansundaram, Shri Thirunavukkarasu, Shri S. Ravichandran, Shri Balakrishnan, Shri Kailairajan, and Shri Sathyanarayanan.
During the program, DIC GM Shri Karthigai Vasan shared insights on how the government supports new business initiatives and highlighted key schemes that aid the growth of MSMEs. He acknowledged LUB’s continuous efforts in nurturing entrepreneurship in the region and extended his best wishes to the newly appointed team. State Vice President Shri Ravichandran recounted his journey from micro to medium enterprise status with the help of LUB-led initiatives like GEM, ONDC, and LEAD, emphasizing the positive impact on employee morale and business growth. State General Secretary Shri Kalyansundaram elaborated on LUB Tamil Nadu's expansion and the vision for future progress. State Women Coordinator Smt. Lavanya shared her experience implementing LUB-CSIR technology transfers, which significantly empowered women entrepreneurs in Erode district. Shri MS Vijayaraghavan expressed confidence in the new team’s ability to bring greater success to the MSME sector and LUB’s initiatives.
In his concluding address, Shri Mohanasundaram praised the growing recognition of LUB among industrial associations and encouraged the new team to focus on expanding membership and fostering collaboration with local industry bodies.
