Welcome speech by Mr Aravind Madurai district LUB President
A warm welcome to this well-organized installation ceremony for the office bearers of Madurai and Ramanathapuram districts of Tamilnadu Laghu Udyog Bharati. We are honored to have Mr. Ganesan, the Joint Director and General Manager of the District Industries Centre, Government of Tamilnadu, as our esteemed chief guest today. His valuable insights about various MSME schemes, subsidies, and startup support activities provided by the government for entrepreneurship development have been enlightening.
We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. M. Sivakumar, the State President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, for sharing the achievements of LUB over the past years and outlining the future plans for taking the organization to the next level. The special six-pillar concept for business development, expos, B2B meetings, vendor development programs with Public Sector Undertakings, and the promotion of women entrepreneurship across the 21 districts where LUB already has a district unit are commendable initiatives. We eagerly anticipate the inauguration plans for the pending district units throughout Tamilnadu, which will contribute to the growth of MSMEs in the respective regions.
Our special thanks to Mr. Arunachalam, the State Vice President of LUB TN, for emphasizing the importance of the membership drive and highlighting the significance of inaugurations for new district units in the southern districts. The representations made by LUB to both central and state governments, as well as the future plans for fostering MSME growth, are noteworthy.
We are privileged to have Mr. Kalyanasundaram, the State Joint General Secretary of LUB TN, among us today. His emphasis on putting the nation's interests first and recognizing the pivotal role played by micro and small industries in serving our country is commendable. The establishment of new industries not only contributes to the nation's growth but also creates employment opportunities, particularly for women.
Lastly, our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Sathyanarayanan, the State Secretary of LUB TN, for shedding light on the necessity of skill development and raising awareness about various schemes, certifications, and marketing techniques through training programs. The importance of Gram Shilpi entrepreneurship for startups was well-explained.
We are pleased to note the enthusiastic participation of many entrepreneurs from Madurai and Ramanathapuram in this meeting. Your presence and involvement will greatly contribute to the growth and success of LUB in these districts.
We extend our gratitude to Mr. Shyam Narayanan, the Secretary of LUB TN, for proposing the vote of thanks.
Thank you.
