Regular monthly meeting of Mahila ikai was held in Gymkhana club, Jalandhar
Meeting was presided over by Mahila ikai LUB Punajab Gen.Secretary Seema Dhumal. All India Swayamsiddha Aayam pramukh, former member MSME Board GOI & VP Rajasthan LUB Anju Singh ji, office bearers of Saraswati Sindhu Nyaas Punjab – Karishma ji, Yash Sharma ji, Renu ji & Manu ji were special guests. LUB Amritsar mahila ikai Convener Priyanka Goyal was also present in this meeting.

Meeting started with lighting of lamp & offering floral tributes to Bharat Maata with chanting of deep Jyoti mantra!
Seema Dhumal gave a brief description of LUB, that now it has more than 980 units across all states of India with over 51000 members. In Punjab too it has presence in around 38 industrial towns & that mahila ikai is also slowly expanding its base & has 8 units in 6 industrial towns of Punjab. She told the members present about her experience of Devas (MP) Swayamsiddha organised in the 2nd week of August, 2024. She said that Mahila ikai Punjab too is organising Swayamsiddha (exhibition by women entrepreneurs) from 29th November to 1st December 2024 in hotel skylark Jalandhar & for this mahila ikai team is visiting all units of Punjab seeking sponsorships etc.
Anju Singh ji told about LUB, its expansion & increasing influence in the policy making of GOI & many state governments for the benefits of MSMEs. She also informed about the swayamsiddha exhibitions being organised all over India under the auspices of LUB & that she being the coordinator of Swayamsiddha at All India level, is available for any guidance for the first ever Swayamsiddha which Punjab Mahila ikai has undertaken to organise in the month of November-December 2024.
She also informed the members about her recent visit to Geneva (Switzerland), where she represented Indian MSMEs in ILO (International Labour Organisation), along with past All India President Jitender ji Gupta.
After attending this conference & understanding the working at conference, she had given few suggestions to both LUB & GOI.
Karishma ji told that their organization too is working for strengthening women & infusing nationalism/patriotism in them from very young age.
