Rourkela District (Paschim Odisha Prant) AGM & Formation of New Executive Committee
Rourkela, Odisha – The Annual General Meeting (AGM) and executive committee selection of Laghu Udyog Bharati's Rourkela District Unit (Paschim Odisha Prant) was successfully held at Mayfair Hotel, Rourkela. It was a moment of pride and happiness as the unit, which was formed just 11 months ago on 2nd September 2024 with only 25 members, has now grown to over 101 members.
In the meeting, Sri Rajesh Kumar Garg was re-elected as President, Sri Chanchal Kumar Sahoo as Secretary, and Sri Rajesh Kumar Agarwal as Treasurer for the 2025–27 term. Along with them, a 20-member executive committee, including Vice Presidents and Joint Secretaries, was also announced.
The program was graced by Sri Sharada Prasad Nayak, Local MLA and Ex-Minister, Government of Odisha, as Chief Guest. Sri Saroj Kumar Sahoo, Prabhari – Odisha LUB, and Sri Shankar Panda, Prant Pracharak – Paschim Odisha, were also present.
The meeting began with the Sangathan Mantra and concluded with the National Anthem. During his address, Sri Saroj Kumar Sahoo congratulated the team on crossing the 100-member mark and set a new target of reaching 150 members within the next month. The turnout exceeded expectations, reflecting the growing enthusiasm and commitment within the unit.
As a token of recognition, beautifully bound membership certificates of Laghu Udyog Bharati were distributed to the members.
