Strengthening Industry–Academia Collaboration through an Industrial Visit
It was a privilege to host around 90 students and faculty members from the Vellore Institute of Technology, along with members of the Industrial Waste Management Association, for an industrial visit to our facility.
During the visit, the participants were briefed on the sustainable hazardous waste recycling practices, safe handling procedures, and environmental management systems implemented at our plant. The session provided students with valuable insights into real-world industrial processes and sustainability practices.
It was truly encouraging to witness the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students as they explored practical aspects of industrial sustainability.
Such initiatives play an important role in strengthening industry–academia collaboration, and we look forward to organizing more such meaningful engagements in the future.
