A Special TIIC campaign was jointly organized by KIEMA and Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) under the coordination of Mr. Chandrasekar, ex-state secretary of LUB. During the campaign, Mr. Chandrasekar presented important suggestions on behalf of LUB to improve support for industries through TIIC. These included providing interest subsidies for ZED-certified companies, expanding the implementation of the TREADS scheme beyond TANGEDCO to TIIC-supported industries, addressing delays in GST credit reimbursement which currently tie up 12% to 28% of working capital and affect productivity, and introducing a special credit guarantee scheme for term loans and cash credit facilities. The regional manager acknowledged these suggestions and assured that they would be discussed at the TIIC board level for possible action.
