Goyal Yarns & Gobind Yarns Host 3rd Day of Textile Safety and Standardization Program under SIDBI Cluster Intervention Programme
The third day of the Textile Safety and Standardization Program was successfully hosted by Goyal Yarns and Gobind Yarns under the SIDBI Cluster Intervention Programme for the Technical Textiles Cluster, Amritsar. The event, organized in collaboration with Laghu Udyog Bharti (Women Wing), Textile Manufacturers Association (TMA), and Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), featured a specialized training session focused on textile safety in spinning and dyeing.
The session saw participation from prominent figures including Ms. Priyanka Goyal, President of Laghu Udyog Bharti – Women Wing, Mr. Vishal Goyal, Director of M/s Goyal Yarns, Mr. Swaraj Goyal, Director of M/s Gobind Yarns, Mr. Ajay Deep Sharma, Safety Consultant at Elion Technologies, Mr. Manjesh Dhochak, Cluster Manager, and Mr. Mrinal Keshri, Cluster Associate, along with other distinguished guests. Over 25 participants from various units actively engaged in the training, acquiring critical insights into textile safety.
Ms. Priyanka Goyal recommended the cluster team to organize a comprehensive industrial safety workshop and develop targeted interventions to strengthen the safety standards of textile units in Amritsar.
The training sessions were attended by more than 200 executives and workers from 12 MSME units. Key topics covered included machine safety, on-site demonstrations, fire safety, electrical safety, first aid, and hazard & risk assessment. The program also featured practical demonstrations across different sections such as weaving, finishing, spinning, and dyeing. These sessions equipped participants with essential skills and knowledge to enhance safety and operational efficiency in their units.
