A one day internship for final year B.Com students was organized by Laghu Udyog Bharati's State General Secretary, Aagam Jain, in collaboration with the Government SPMR College of Commerce. The – event took place at M/s Nature Fresh Foods, an industrial unit located in Gangyal, Jammu.
The workshop aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in automated bread and bak ery manufacturing proce sses. During their visit, the students were introduced to the concepts of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good hygiene practices (GHP), crucial for maintaining quality and safety in food produc- tion. The automated facili ty showcased the latest technologies and methods used in commercial bak ing, sparking the students' interest in the various processes involved.
Aagam Jain empha sized the importance of practical knowledge and industrial exposure for students, which bridges the gap between theoreti cal learning and real-world application. The students showed great enthusiasm in learning about the com mercial baking processes, from mixing and kneading dough to baking and packaging the final products.
In addition to this event, Jain recently signed a Memorandum_ of Understanding (MoU) with Women College Gandhi Nagar. This agree ment aims to provide simi lar industrial experiences to students, enhancing their understanding and skills in various sectors.
The internship was a significant step towards empowering students with practical knowledge and skills, preparing them for future careers in the indus try. The students left with a deeper understanding of bakery operations and the various facets of automat ed manufacturing process es, eager to apply what they had learned in their studies and future profes sional endeavors.
