LUB Contributes to NIOS Curriculum Development for NSQF Level-3 Electrical Technician Course

Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) participated in a stakeholder consultation at NIOS Headquarters, Noida, on 27th July 2026 to contribute to the development of the curriculum for the ‘Jr. Technician – Electrical and Electronic Sub-System (NSQF Level-3)’ course.

Representing LUB, Anju Bajaj Ji, Shri Raman Chawla Ji, and Dr. Arshpreet Kaur joined senior NIOS officials and academic experts to review the proposed curriculum. During the discussions, LUB shared industry inputs to strengthen the course by enhancing its practical relevance, competency-based learning, industry alignment, and mandatory On-the-Job Training (OJT), ensuring better employability for learners. The meeting concluded with broad agreement on the proposed curriculum framework, with expert suggestions to be incorporated before final approval. The initiative reinforces LUB’s commitment to developing industry-aligned, skill-based vocational education that enhances employability and meets the evolving needs of the manufacturing sector.
