Laghu Udyog Bharti (LUB), Jammu & Kashmir, participated in the Orientation Program for the MBA Batch 2026–28 at IIM Jammu through an engaging panel discussion on the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir.

The panel featured Shri Parveen Pargal (National Working Committee Member, LUB), Shri Aagam Jain (State General Secretary, LUB), Shri Hasit Singh (Young Entrepreneur & Member, LUB), Shri Anil Suri (Member, LUB & Aayam Prabhari), Shri Aman Sharma (Member, LUB & Leading Agro Chemical Manufacturer), and Shri Akarsh Nargotra (Member, LUB). The panelists shared their entrepreneurial journeys, practical business insights, and emerging opportunities in the region while addressing numerous questions from MBA students.

The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, fostering meaningful discussions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and MSME development. The exchange of ideas and real-life experiences encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to explore new business possibilities with confidence.

Following the panel discussion, the LUB delegation visited the newly established IIM Jammu Incubation Centre, where Dr. Vikas presented an overview of the incubation ecosystem, startup support mechanisms, mentorship programs, funding opportunities, and innovation initiatives available for entrepreneurs.

The delegation also held a productive meeting with the Director of IIM Jammu to discuss future collaboration in entrepreneurship promotion, MSME development, innovation, and industry-academia partnerships. During the visit, the delegation interacted with Dr. Muqbil from IIM Srinagar and exchanged ideas on strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem across the region.
