Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), South Sambhag, participated in a two-day Skill Development Exhibition organised jointly with Ignite on 29–30 August 2026 at Taj Kutir, Kolkata. The programme was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Industry, Government of West Bengal.

The initiative aims to train 600 technicians in Electrical and Electronics in emerging fields such as Industrial Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and new-age technologies, helping create a future-ready skilled workforce.

During the exhibition, LUB members actively engaged with visitors and highlighted the organisation’s initiatives and contributions towards MSME development, skill enhancement, entrepreneurship and employment generation. The participation provided an opportunity to strengthen awareness about LUB’s role in bridging the gap between industry and skill development.

The programme reflects LUB South Sambhag’s continued commitment to strengthening the industry–skill development–technology ecosystem and preparing skilled manpower for the evolving needs of the MSME sector and emerging industries.
