LUB Goa Chapter Engages with CGST Commissioner to Address MSME GST Concerns
The Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Goa Chapter, under the leadership of Chapter President Ms. Pallavi Salgaocar and Taxation Vertical Chair CA Gaurav Kenkre, held a significant meeting with Goa CGST Commissioner Shri Bipin Kumar Upadhyay to address pressing challenges faced by MSMEs under the GST regime.
During the meeting, the LUB Goa team emphasized the need for a dedicated local GST helpline to assist small businesses with real-time guidance, query resolution, and simplified navigation of GST compliance. This initiative aims to bridge the communication gap between MSMEs and the tax department, ensuring smoother operations for local enterprises.
Commissioner Upadhyay responded positively and assured full support and cooperation in addressing MSME-related grievances. He recognized the importance of inclusive dialogue and proactive steps to ease compliance for small and micro industries.
