On 12th June 2026, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Vasai Ekai, under the leadership of President Shri Arvind Patil, successfully organised a grand programme to honour the entrepreneurial spirit and remarkable contributions of industrialists from the Vasai–Virar region of Palghar district, which falls under the Mumbai Region.

The prestigious event was graced by the presence of Shri Hemant Savra, Member of Parliament from Palghar, Vasai MLAs Shri Rajan Naik and Smt. Snehatai Dubey, and Shri Rajiv Patil, the first Mayor of Vasai–Virar Municipal Corporation (VVMC), along with several distinguished guests and members of the industrial fraternity.

Recognising exceptional achievements and dedication towards industrial growth, 4 “Udyog Bhushan Awards” and 22 “Yashasvi Udyogak Awards” were presented to outstanding entrepreneurs representing various industries across the Vasai–Virar region.

The programme reflected Laghu Udyog Bharati’s continued commitment towards encouraging entrepreneurship, recognising industrial excellence, and strengthening the MSME ecosystem through appreciation and motivation of entrepreneurs.
