Laghu Udyog Bharati, Amritsar, in collaboration with the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) and the Amritsar Zone of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI), is organizing an important awareness session on the National Pension System (NPS) under the theme:

“Building a Secure Future for MSME Workforce”

The programme will be held on Monday, 22 June 2026, at 7:00 PM onwards at Hotel Best Western Merrion, Amritsar.

The session aims to educate MSME owners, entrepreneurs, traders, and employees about the benefits of the National Pension System and its significance in creating long-term financial security for the workforce. As India’s MSME sector continues to play a pivotal role in economic growth and employment generation, ensuring social security and retirement planning for workers has become increasingly important.

The organizers are honoured to welcome Sh. Sheetal Juneja, Member, Punjab State Traders Commission, Government of Punjab, as the Chief Guest for the programme. His presence will add valuable insights to the discussion on financial inclusion and social security initiatives for the business community.

Experts from PFRDA will provide detailed information on the features, benefits, tax advantages, and enrollment process of the National Pension System, helping participants understand how NPS can serve as an effective retirement planning tool for entrepreneurs as well as employees.
