An interactive seminar on the Unnati Scheme was successfully organized on 17th March 2026 at the conference hall of Hotel Doyang, Golaghat. The event was jointly conducted by the District Industries & Commerce Centre (DICC), Golaghat, in association with Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), Golaghat Ekai. The seminar served as a significant platform to spread awareness about government initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and supporting emerging business ventures in the region.
The programme was graced by the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Mr. Tushar Pratim Gohain, General Manager, DICC Golaghat; Mr. Dinesh Kaman, Assistant Director, DICC Golaghat; Mr. Dimple Saikia, Assistant Manager, DICC Golaghat; and Sri Mridul Patar, Lead District Manager (LDM), Golaghat. Representing LUB Golaghat Ekai were Sri Ajoy Kanoi (President), Sri Binay Todi (Vice President), Sri Ambarish Sarma (Secretary), Sri Vinod Agarwala (Treasurer), along with active members Sri Sanjoy Hazarika and Sri Suresh Kawar. The presence of Sri Priyandeep Kakoti, a well-established entrepreneur from Golaghat district, added further value to the session by inspiring aspiring participants.
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of new and aspiring entrepreneurs, reflecting the growing interest in business and self-employment opportunities. The session primarily focused on creating awareness about the key provisions, benefits, and application process of the Unnati Scheme. Participants actively engaged in discussions, asked queries, and explored how they could leverage the scheme for their entrepreneurial journey.
